What is EchoArt? 什麼是 EchoArt？
EchoArt aims to bridge the visual and performing arts and showcase the diverse talents of our local creatives through a two-part art and music competition.
The first will be a visual art competition - artists can submit original pieces corresponding to this year's themes. All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of professional artists, and three winners will be selected.
This will be followed by a battle of the bands competition - bands must take inspiration from one of the winning art pieces and either a) choose an existing song, or b) write an original song to perform accordingly. The winning student band will be invited to perform at the coveted Lamma Fun Day on November 15 2025, while the winning adult band will be invited to perform at a live event hosted by the Underground HK.
EchoArt旨在通過舉辦視覺與表演藝術兩大賽事，搭建藝術交融的橋樑，來展示本地創作者的各種才藝。
首先是藝術比賽 -- 藝術家可以提交與今年主題響應的原創作品。所有提交的作品將由專業藝術家小組進行評估，並選出三名優勝者。
隨後將舉行樂隊比賽——參賽樂隊須從獲獎藝術作品中汲取靈感，可選擇：a) 演繹現有歌曲，或 b) 創作原創歌曲進行表演。獲勝學生樂隊將受邀在2025年11月15日備受矚目的南丫島同樂日中演出，成人組冠軍樂隊則將獲邀參加由Underground HK主辦的現場音樂活動中表演。
Who can participate? 誰可以參加？
Registration is open to anyone who wants to express their creativity. Last year, (2024,) we had two age divisions with each division having to correspond to their own relative themes. This year, (2025,) we offer two themes in which artists of any age can participate.
比賽歡迎任何想展現創意的人參加。去年（2024 年），我們設有學生組與成人組，並各自對應不同的主題。今年（2025 年），我們將提供兩個主題，任何年齡的藝術家都可以參加。
誰想啟發他們的創意力，就可以參加。我們有兩組比賽 - 學生組（17歲一下）和成人組（18以上）。

Art submissions open

Both themes are announced. Visual artists can begin creating and submitting required materials to this google form. The google form will close on September 29.

Art judging begins

Our panel of judges will begin evaluating submissions and select three winners from the collective pool of both theme submissions. Winners will be announced and notified on October 2nd. Winners will be emailed first, second or third place certificates accordingly. All participants will be emailed certificates of participation.

Bands interested in participating in the battle of the bands event will be required to complete a registration form (coming soon) and pay a non-refundable $100 registration fee.
Registering bands will also be asked to select a piece of winning artwork to take inspiration from for their song selection / creation.有興趣參加樂隊比賽的樂隊需填寫即將推出的報名表格，並支付100港元的報名費（不設退還）。
已報名的樂隊亦需從得獎作品中選出一件作為靈感，去挑選或創作他們的比賽歌曲。

All bands perform their chosen songs at our live Battle of the Bands event at The Wanch. They perform in front of a panel of judges and a live audience.
Judges will select one winning student band and one winning adult band.
All artists who submitted a piece may have their artwork showcased at the event.
所有參賽樂隊將於The Wanch舉行的現場樂隊比賽中演出他們所選擇的歌曲。他們將在評審團及現場觀眾面前表演。
評審團將選出一隊優勝的學生樂隊及一隊優勝的成人樂隊。
另外，所有提交過藝術作品的藝術家，其作品亦有機會於活動中展示。
